Quick and Easy vinaigrettes for your salad

 
 

Cilantro Lime Dressing

1 ea Avocado, ripened, peeled, and cut into chunks

`1/2 bunch Cilantro, with stems, roughly chopped

1 ea Lime juiced. Use two if the limes are small

1-2 Tbls Water

1/4 tsp Salt

2 cranks On the black pepper mill

Add all ingredients to a speed blender and puree until smooth. Season with more salt if needed. Add more water if needed. Size of the avocado matters here.

 


Maple Mustard Dressing

1 Tbls Maple syrup

1 Tbls Dijon mustard

1 Tbls Balsamic Vinegar

6 Tbls Avocado oil

1/4 tsp Salt

1 crank on the black pepper mill

This dressing only needs to be lightly whipped together in a mixing bowl; there is no need for a blender.

 
 

Lemon Poppy Seed Dressing

1/3 cup to 1/2 cup Extra Virgin olive oil

1 Tbls Dijon Mustard

1 Tbls Poppy seeds

1 Tbls Honey

1 ea Lemon juiced, depending on size you might need juice from 2ea.

1/2 tsp Salt

Mixing all the ingredients is enough, no blender needed

Note; Rememeber the vinaigrette formula 3 to 1, meaning oil to vinegar or acid liquid is creating a vinaigrette. Of course it is a starting point. If you want an more acidic vinaigrette add more lemon juice in this case. You do you!

 
 

Greek Yogurt dressing

1/2 cup Greek Plain Yogurt

1 tsp Dijon mustard

2 Tbls Water

1/4 cup Fresh chopped herbs dill, parsley and mint

3 Tbls Extra virgin olive oil

1 ea Lemon, juiced

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp Black pepper, freshly cracked

Add all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and use a whisk to whip them together. No blender needed
