Cinnamon Granola
Makes about 1 1/4 lbs or 750g qt of finished product
4 cups Whole GF rolled oats
1 cup Flaked almonds
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
2 Tbls Melted Coconut oil or butter
1/2 cup Maple syrup
4 Tbls Creamy Almond Butter
Preheat the oven to 300°F.
Mix all the ingredients thoroughly. If you are using Silpat or parchment paper, it doesn’t matter, but you need to line two sheet pans, spread the oatmeal mixture evenly, and make it an even layer, about 1/4” or less. Push the oats down slightly, this will help getting those yummy clusters.
Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. Turn the sheet pans around and bake for another 15 minutes.
If you want sweeter granola, pull the sheet pans out and drizzle a few tablespoons of maple syrup over them to make them a bit more crunchy and sweeter!
